In this scenario, the ruby text is not displayed in the Phonetic Guide dialog box in Word. Additionally, you cannot apply ruby text to the selected text in Word. Note You do not experience this issue in Microsoft Office Word 2007.  Back to the top
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the registration information for the Input Method Editor (IME) is incomplete in Windows Vista. Back to the top RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, follow these steps. Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved.
