Some programs are not removed when you uninstall Works 9

When you uninstall Microsoft Works 9, some programs are not removed. For example, the Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007 and the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office System are installed when you install Works 9. However, these programs are not removed when you uninstall Works 9.

When you uninstall Works 9, Works programs and settings are removed as expected. However, the following programs are not removed when you uninstall Works 9:

• Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007
• Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office System

The following programs are not removed when you uninstall Microsoft Works Plus 2007:

• Microsoft Office Word 2003
• Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007
• Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office System

To uninstall the programs that are listed earlier in this section, follow the steps for the operating system that you are using.

Microsoft Windows XP

1. Click Start, click Run, type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Click the program that you want to uninstall, and then click Remove.

Windows Vista

1. Click Start
