How to enable online access for your Xbox 360 HD DVD Player

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to enable online special features that are included on some HD DVD discs. Before you can use the online special features of those HD DVD discs, your Xbox 360 HD DVD Player may have to be configured to enable online access.

Configure the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player for online access

  1. Insert an HD DVD disc into the accessory tray to start playback

    Note The HD DVD disc does not have to contain online features.
  2. After the HD DVD disc starts to play, press the Display button on the remote control to show the HD DVD Player configuration menu.
  3. Click the HD DVD networking settings button to open the Networking Configuration screen.

    Make sure that the Enable Network Access option is selected.
  4. When you are finished, press Display again on the remote control to close the configuration screen.
Your Xbox 360 HD DVD Player saves the configuration after step 4. Therefore, you have to follow these steps only one time.

Sign in to Xbox LIVE
