When you browse a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 ASP.NET Web application, you may receive the following exception:
Note assembly_name is a placeholder for the name of the assembly that is randomly generated when the dynamic compilation occurs.
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'assembly_name, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
