SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. As an administrator, you may have to prevent users from saving e-mail items to their local Personal Folders file (.pst). To do this, you use Group Policy to prevent the user from adding a .pst file to his or her profile in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. However, if a user right-clicks an e-mail item, drags the item to the Deleted Items folder and then clicks Copy, the item is unexpectedly copied to the Deleted Items folder in the user's local .pst file.
