On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. On a
server, you install Microsoft
BizTalk Server 2006 and Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3, or you install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5. To notify a trade partner that a failure occurred, you use BizTalk
Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 or BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 to send a 0A1 Partner Interface Process (PIP)
message to the trade partner. In this scenario, the trade partner may reject
the 0A1 PIP message. Additionally, the Service Content section in the 0A1 PIP message contains a DOCTYPE declaration. However, the Service Content section in the 0A1 PIP message also incorrectly contains a namespace declaration. When this problem occurs, you may notice that the following message is generated in the 0A1 PIP message: RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. Installation informationThis hotfix updates the components that PIP processing uses. Before you apply this hotfix on the server that is running BizTalk Server 2006 or BizTalk Server 2006 R2, make sure that all PIP processing is finished. Additionally, make sure that all orchestrations in BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 or in BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 are finished or are stopped.PrerequisitesMicrosoft BizTalk Server 2006 and Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 must be installed to apply the BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 version of this hotfix.
