Configuration node in Microsoft Exchange Server
2007. The following error is logged in the move-Mailbox---.log file: *** 12/5/2007 11:28:43 AM] [0] [User1] Deleting mailbox from mailbox database: szServer: exchange1.contoso.com pguidMdb: {98B13BCE-C60D-4D16-8B36-B3D44C3650F0} pguidMailbox: {326CF590-D101-4F86-8415-165D80483A38} [12/5/2007 11:28:43 AM] [0] [User1] Failed to delete mailbox '{326CF590-D101-4F86-8415-165D80483A38}' with error: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service could not find the specified object. [12/5/2007 11:28:43 AM] [0] [User1] Error returned from deleting mailbox was ignored. [12/5/2007 11:28:43 AM] [0] [User1] The operation has finished. *** The following events are logged in the Application log: Event ID : 9533 Event ID : 1203 Event ID : 10001 CAUSEThis problem occurs because Exchange 2007 cannot delete the
folder hierarchy of the mailbox in the source server during the move mailbox
operation. The mailbox is moved successfully from the source server to the
destination server. However, the move mailbox operation cannot delete the
mailbox at the source server after the mailbox is moved. Therefore, the
partially deleted mailbox has the same GUID as the
active mailbox that causes the Exchange Management Console to
crash. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 5 for
Exchange 2007.
