MORE INFORMATION

When you connect to the Windows Home Server Console from a home computer that uses a different keyboard language, the Windows Home Server Console automatically displays a Language Bar. This Language Bar lets you select the keyboard language that you want to use in Windows Home Server Console. But if the keyboard language that you use on the home computer requires an IME, you may have to manually select the IME for that language on the Windows Home Server to use that language in the Windows Home Server Console.

To manually select an IME for an input language on the Windows Home Server, follow these steps:
1. On the home computer, use the Remote Desktop Connection program to remotely connect to the Windows Home Server.
2. Log on to the Windows Home Server, and provide the following logon information:
For the user name, use the following:
Administrator
For the password, use the Windows Home Server password.
3. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK. The Regional and Language Options dialog box appears.
4.Click the Languages tab, and then click Details. The Text Services and Input Languages dialog box appears.
5.In the Settings tab, click Add. The Add Input Language dialog box appears.
6. In the Input Language drop-down list, select a language.
7.In the Keyboard layout/IME drop-down list, select an appropriate language layout for the language that you selected in step 6.
8. Click OK three times to close all the dialog boxes that are open.
