After you install security update 938123, the headline of the RSS Feed Gadget in Windows Vista is displayed incorrectly. For example, you may experience the following symptoms in the RSS Feed Gadget:

Symptom 1

Text in the headline of the RSS Feed Gadget does not change from bold text to plain text until the next refresh occurs in the Gadget.

Symptom 2

The headline of the RSS Feed Gadget is truncated, and it is shown as one line that has ellipses. A new line is present in the title.

CAUSE

Both symptoms occur after you install security update 938123.

WORKAROUND

Symptom 1

To work around this symptom, scroll to the next view of the feeds in Gadgets, and then scroll back to the previous view.

Symptom 2

To work around this symptom, the RSS Feed provider can remove the new line from the title.
