FIX: A Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device may stop responding when you use the Infrared Data Association (IrDA) infrared communications protocol to connect to a remote device
On This PageSYMPTOMSOn a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device, you use the Infrared Data Association (IrDA) infrared communications protocol to connect to a remote device. However, the Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device may stop responding. CAUSEDuring the IrDA connection, the remote device may send a Disconnected Mode (DM) response to a Set Normal Response Mode (SNRM) command from the Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device. If the remote device does this, the Winsock connect function locks automatically. RESOLUTIONSoftware update informationA supported software update is now available from Microsoft.
