SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, you create a custom pipeline that uses the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 (BTAHL7) 2.x assembler/disassembler. Additionally, you set the Encoding charset property to the Western European character set or to the UTF-8 character set. Then, you specify a map in a receive port or in a send port. In this scenario, the following Error events are logged in the Application log:
Event 1

Event 2

Event Type: Error
Event Source: BizTalk Server 2006
Event Category: BizTalk Server 2006
Event ID: 5753

Description:
A message received by adapter "FILE" on receive location "HL7_RL" with URI "$\HL7_Inbound\*.txt" is suspended. Error details: The Messaging Engine failed while executing the inbound map for the message coming from source URL:"$\HL7_Inbound\*.txt" with the Message Type "http://localhost/HealthCare/HL7/2.3#ORU_R01_23_GLO_DEF".
