SYMPTOMS

Data corruption may occur in Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 1.0 if the following conditions are true:
  • You set the Rowset Cache Size property in an OLE DB connection string.
  • You are using OLE DB Provider for DB2 together with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or together with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

RESOLUTION

Host Integration Server 2006

OLE DB Provider for DB2 1.0

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next OLE DB Provider for DB2 1.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.
