A Content Query Web Part or Web Query Web Part for an RSS feed in SharePoint Server 2007 content displays unexpected results

You view a Web page from a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site collection that contains a Content Query Web Part or Web Query Web Part for an RSS feed. When you click the orange RSS feed icon on the Web Part, you experience one of the following symptoms:

• The RSS feed content may differ from the content that is displayed in the Content Query Web Part.
• The Web Query Web Part may display multiple home Web pages and items.

This problem may occur because the WebURL path is encoded in the URL for the RSS feed. When the Web Part is opened, the WebURL is decoded incorrectly. When the Web page that contains the Web Part is rendered, the WebURL is based on the Web page on which the Web Part is hosted.

How to obtain the hotfix
