Error message when you try to schedule a yearly recurring appointment on the 31st day of certain months: "The recurrence date is invalid"

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, you receive the following error message when you try to schedule a yearly recurring appointment on the 31st day of certain months:
The recurrence date is invalid. The date specified must be valid for the selected month.
This problem occurs when the appointment is scheduled for one of the following dates:
March 31
May 31
July 31
October 31
December 31
This problem occurs only on Exchange 2007 servers that use a "GMT+x" time zone and that have daylight saving time (DST) enabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem in the release version of Exchange Server 2007, install Update Rollup 6 for Exchange Server 2007.
