Hotfix installation instructions
You must apply this hotfix on every computer that hosts Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Management Server or an agent.
To apply this hotfix, follow these steps:
Copy the following file to a local folder or to a shared network folder:
Run this file locally on every computer that hosts System Center Operations Manager 2007 Management Server or an agent.
Notes
You can run this file from Windows Explorer or at a command prompt.
The Operations Manager Service is restarted when you apply the hotfix.
To apply this hotfix in a System Center Operations Manager 2007 environment, follow these steps:
Manually update each System Center Operations Manager server and gateway server in all the management groups.
Note You can view a list of agents that can be updated automatically by using the Operations Manager Administration console. To view this list, follow these steps:
Start the Operations Manager Administration console.
Expand Administration, expand Device Management, and then click Pending Management.
Update the agents that were manually installed after you applied the hotfix to the server. To do this by using Operations Manager 2007 Management Server, follow these steps:
Start the Operations Manager Administration console.
Expand Administration, expand Device Management, and then click Pending Management.
View the Pending Management folder to make sure that the manual installation is approved.
Open the Agent-managed Computers folder. Right-click the agent that you want, and then run the Update Agent Settings task.
File information
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
