SYMPTOMS

When you run an application that is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, you may notice that the memory load is very high.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the garbage collection cannot handle the pinned objects in memory.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information



A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
