Some features of Halo 3 are available only for Xbox
LIVE Gold accounts. Some features are available with Xbox
LIVE Silver accounts, and some features don't work at all when there is no connection to Xbox
LIVE.
The following tables describe the features that are available for each type of Xbox
LIVE account.
Account types- Gold: Typical Xbox LIVE monthly paid subscription. May revert to silver if payments lapse
- Silver with Gold trial: Gold account that reverts to Silver after fixed period
- 48-hour Gold trial: Gold account that is suspended after fixed period
- Silver with free weekend: Silver account briefly promoted to Gold status
- Silver: Free Xbox LIVE account without subscription
- Local: Local Xbox profile online; no LIVE account
