When you use the Microsoft Office Document Scanning tool to scan a document, the tool crashes.
This problem occurs after you install 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service
Pack 1 (SP1) on a computer that is
running Windows Vista.
This problem occurs when you use one
of the following scanners to scan the document:

| • | EPSON GT-S60 |
| • | EPSON GT-S600 |
| • | Canon CanoScan FB1210U |
| • | Canon PIXMA MX 300 |
| • | Canon CanoScan LiDE 90 |
| • | Canon CanoScan LiDE 500F |
| • | HP Officejet 7210 All-in-One |
This problem does not occur in the release version of the 2007
Microsoft Office system.

This problem occurs because of a bug in 2007 Office Suite
SP1.

To work around this problem, use another scanner
application. For example, you can use the scanner software that was
included
with the scanner. If you are using Windows Vista Business or Windows Vista
Ultimate, you can use the "Windows Fax and Scan" tool.
