Discovery information is missing after you delete and then reimport a management pack in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007

When you delete and then immediately reimport a management pack in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007, and then you view the contents of the management pack, the management pack is missing some discovery information.

This issue occurs when you reimport the management pack before the System Center Operations Manager 2007 agents have successfully deleted the same management pack.

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods:

• After you delete the management pack, wait several minutes before you reimport the same management pack.
• Restart the OpsMgr Health Service service on the agent-controlled computer. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
  2. In the Services MMC snap-in, right-click OpsMgr Health Service, and then click Restart.
