MORE INFORMATIONEarlier Windows operating system, such Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, provide support for IP networking over the IEEE 1394 bus. The supported networking interface is listed in the Network Connections folder as 1394 Connection. However, in Windows Vista and in later versions of Windows, Microsoft has discontinued support for IP networking over the IEEE 1394 bus.
