On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You create a receive location in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 or in BizTalk Server 2006 R2. The receive location uses the file adapter to receive data from a remote Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path. You configure the receive location to retry for network failures. In this scenario, the receive location does not retry sometimes when a network failure occurs. Additionally, the receive location is disabled immediately. CAUSEThis problem occurs because a receive location that uses the file adapter does not retry for some kinds of network failures.
