Article ID: 943924 - Last Review: December 13, 2007 - Revision: 1.1 Tomorrow's date is displayed when you set the default value in the "Date and Time" column to "Today's Date" in SharePoint Server 2007 or in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0SYMPTOMSYou add a new Date and Time column to a
list or to a document library on a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site or
on a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site. When you set the default value
of the column to Today's Date, tomorrow's date is displayed. This behavior occurs when the system time is between 23:00 and 23:59 when you set the default value. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the default Date and Time value is counted every hour and then is rounded to next hour. Therefore, when you set the default value
to Today's Date, the date advances if the system time is
between 23:00 and 23:59. STATUS This
behavior is by design.
