List of issues fixed

This update package fixes the following issues:

• 943019  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943019/ ) An instant message invitation on a Communicator Web Access server in Communicator 2007 may wait indefinitely if the sender has ended the instant message
• 943020  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943020/ ) Error message when you try to send a Subscribe request in Communications Server 2007: "SIP/2.0 481 Subscription Does Not Exist"
• 946385  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946385/ ) A user may be unable to take a PC-Phone call off hold in a Communications Server 2007 environment

Update package information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Update information

Prerequisites

To apply this update package, the computer must be running one of the following server roles:

• Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access Server
• The Mediation Server function of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007

Restart information

You must restart the computer after you apply this update package. After the computer is restarted, the new assemblies are loaded from the global assembly cache.

Update replacement information

This update package is cumulative and contains updates from earlier released Communications Server 2007 update packages.

Registry information

To use one of the updates in this package, you do not have to make any changes to the registry.

Removal information

To remove this update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel. Under certain scenarios, when you try to uninstall the update package, you may be prompted for the source CD. If you are prompted, insert the source CD or provide the path of the source files. After you remove this update package, you must restart your computer. When you restart your computer, the rolled-back assemblies will be loaded into the global assembly cache.
