SYMPTOMS

On a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007-based edge server, the Edgetransport.exe process may stop unexpectedly. Additionally, if you have enabled error reporting, the following error message may be logged in the error report:

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem in Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1, install Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
