On This PageSYMPTOMSYou use Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 or the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 SMTP Adapter with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Encrypted messages from BizTalk Server contain the "application/x-pkcs" reference in the MIME header and in the signed part of the encrypted message. Some outgoing encrypted messages may not be understood by systems that process those messages. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
