INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to change the start time or the end time for a Microsoft Office Live Meeting request.

MORE INFORMATION

Starting on March 3, 2007, Live Meeting organizers who have the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Time Zone update installed must verify the start time and the end time of any existing meeting requests. To do this, these organizers can use Live Meeting Manager or the Microsoft Office Outlook calendar.

If you have to change the start time or the end time for a meeting request, you must also send an updated meeting invitation to all the meeting attendees. To do this, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Use Live Meeting Manager to reschedule your meetings

To use Live Meeting Manager to reschedule your meetings, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to the computer that is running Conference Center.
  2. Open Live Meeting Manager, click Manage, and then click Meetings to view a list of all the meetings. This list includes the meeting ID (name), the start date, the start time, and the end time.
  3. Examine the start time and the end time of your meetings to make sure that they are correct. If they are correct, no additional steps are necessary.

If you have to change the start time or the end time of a meeting, select the meeting, click Update Meeting, and then change the start time or the end time.
  4. To send an updated invitation, make sure that your attendees are listed under Attendees and Presenters, and then click Send Invitations at the bottom of the page.
  5. Click Manage, and then click Meetings to return to the list of your meetings.
  6. Repeat these steps for any meetings for which you want to change the start time or the end time.

Method 2: Use the Outlook add-in for Live Meeting to reschedule your meetings

  1. Open Office Outlook.
  2. Open the calendar entry of the meeting.
  3. Change the start time, end time, or both, of the meeting.
  4. Click Send Update to send an updated invitation to the attendees and presenters.
  5. Repeat these steps for any meetings for which you want to change the start time or the end time.

Method 3: Use the Conference Center website to reschedule your meetings

  1. On the Conference Center website, click Login to Live Meeting to log on to your Conference Center.
  2. Examine the start time and the end time of your meetings and make sure that they are correct. If they are correct, no additional steps are necessary.

If you have to change the start time or the end time of a meeting, select the meeting, click Update Meeting, and then change the start time or the end time.
  3. To send an updated invitation, make sure that your attendees are listed under Attendees and Presenters, and then click Send Invitations at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Manage, and then click Meetings to return to the list of your meetings.
  5. Repeat these steps for any meetings for which you want to change the start time or the end time.
