An Exchange 2007 edge server does not rewrite the sender address for externally bound messages in an Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 environment

SYMPTOMS

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment, you set an AddressRewrite entry on two Exchange 2007 edge servers. After you do this, one Exchange 2007 edge server does not rewrite the sender address for externally bound messages.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 on the server that is running Exchange Server 2007. For more information about Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1, see the following Exchange Help topic:
