INTRODUCTION

List of issues that are fixed

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
When a resolved name in the To field of an Outlook 2003 message contains the 0x5c character, Outlook 2003 adds an extra escape character into the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) query.
If the In folders other than inbox, save replies with original messages setting is enabled in Outlook 2003, e-mail messages that are deferred stay in the Outbox.
For clients that are running earlier versions of Outlook, only basic text information about when and where a meeting occurs may be available for an Outlook 2003 appointment. The appointment information does not reflect the daylight saving time (DST) adjustment
The version of the Collaboration Data Objects (Cdo.dll) file that is included with Outlook 2003 does not include the New Zealand time zone for DST changes. This hotfix package adds the New Zealand time zone to the Cdo.dll file.
Outlook 2003 e-mail messages for which the Request a read receipt for this message option is selected appear with an Unreadstatus. This issue occurs when the e-mail message is read and then moved offline or when the message is deleted offline.
