When you use a portable Windows Vista-based computer, you may receive a Stop error message that resembles one of the following:
STOP: 0x000000E4 (0x00000002, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
STOP: 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
This behavior is caused by a timing issue between the Usbvideo.sys module and the Ks.sys module. When the issue occurs, the device object is deleted before a related work item is invoked.
To work around the issue, change the value of the ForceHCResetOnResume registry entry to 1.
