To upgrade membership by using an Xbox 360 console

  1. Go to the Settings hub and select Account.

    Note If Account is not available, you need to sign in using an Xbox LIVE gamertag. For information on how to join Xbox LIVE, see

  2. In the Account panels, go to the right and select the Xbox LIVE Membership you want to upgrade to and follow the onscreen directions to upgrade.
Important
  • Your subscription is automatically renewed at the end of each term, unless you call Xbox Support to cancel.

To upgrade your membership by using a computer

  1. Go to xbox.com/accounts (http://www.xbox.com/accounts) , and sign in with your Windows Live ID.
  2. Under Membership Options, click Upgrade/Manage Account. You might be asked to re-enter your password.
  3. Select your new membership and then click Next.
  4. Complete the instructions on the screen to complete your subscription.
Important
  • The monthly subscription plan is automatically renewed at the end of each term, unless you call Xbox Support to cancel.
  • Trial and prepaid Xbox LIVE Gold Membership subscriptions revert to Free Membership level at the end of the term, unless you renew the subscription.
