SYMPTOMS

When you start Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, Office Communicator causes an access violation.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you use the SetCursor() method.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and then install the hotfix that is described in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
