Error message when you use the Command Shell utility for the first time in System Center Operations Manager 2007: "Can not find Operations Manager Management Server name for current user"

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Command Shell utility for the first time in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007, you may receive the following error message:
Can not find Operations Manager Management Server name for current user.
Note In this error message, the words "can not" are a misspelling for the word "cannot."

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the current user does not have a user-persisted connection setting to connect to a Management Server computer.

This issue occurs if you use the Command Shell utility for the first time before you use System Center Operations Manager 2007.

WORKAROUND

The error message is an informational message only. You can safely ignore the error message. However, if this issue occurs every time that you use the Command Shell utility, you must determine why the user-persisted connection setting does not take effect.
