SYMPTOMS

When you try to forward an individual event that is part of a series of recurring events, Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Mac forwards the whole series instead of the individual event. Entourage 2008 does not prompt you to select whether you want to forward the individual event or the whole series.

This problem does not occur if you modified the individual event in your calendar. For example, this problem does not occur if you modified the title or if you added notes to the description.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, modify the individual event that you want to forward. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In Entourage 2008, open the Calendar view.
  2. Locate and then double-click the individual event that you want to modify.
  3. Click Open this one, and then click OK.
  4. Modify the title or the description. However, do not modify the date or the time of the event.
  5. On the File menu, click Save.

    You receive the following message:
You have made changes to this invitation. If the organizer sends an updated meeting, your changes will be lost.
  6. Click OK.
  7. On the Event menu, click Forward.
  8. Type the recipients for the e-mail, and then click Send.
