Article ID: 947391 - Last Review: May 8, 2008 - Revision: 1.3 The contents of .pst files are not imported into Exchange Server 2007 mailboxes when you use the Import-Mailbox cmdlet
SYMPTOMSWhen
you migrate mailboxes from an
IMAP4/POP3 server to a
server that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
Service Pack 1 (SP1),
you generate
personal folder (.pst) files for the mailboxes.
Then, you try
to import the .pst files to the
Exchange Server 2007
server by using the Import-Mailbox cmdlet. However, the contents of the .pst files are not imported
into the Exchange Server 2007 mailboxes. CAUSEThis problem occurs because some properties of the folders
in the .pst files are missing. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 2 for
Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1.
