It takes a long time for the Exchange Management Console to load in an Exchange Server 2007 organization that was deployed in a multiple-domain environment
SYMPTOMSYou have a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 organization that was
deployed in a multiple-domain environment. In this organization, the network connections
between domains are slow, or cross-domain network traffic is restricted. In this deployment, it takes a long time for the Exchange Management Console to successfully load. For example, it takes 10 minutes to load. CAUSEThis problem occurs because Exchange Server 2007 tries to connect
each domain controller of each domain before the Exchange Management Console
is successfully loaded. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 3 for
Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 on the server. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 949870 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949870/)
