SYMPTOMS

When you try to access the "System objects: Default owner for objects created by members of the Administrators group" Group Policy setting on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008, this setting is not available in the security policy settings list.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the "System objects: Default owner for objects created by members of the Administrators group" Group Policy setting is not available in the Security Templates user interface.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, add the "System objects: Default owner for objects created by members of the Administrators group" Group Policy setting to the Security Templates user interface.
