Article ID: 947818 - Last Review: January 20, 2012 - Revision: 3.2 A field that does not have a name appears on the Non-Event Dependencies tab in the Form Properties dialog box after you create a new custom entity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. In Microsoft Dynamics CRM
4.0, you create a new custom entity. Then, you open the Form Properties dialog
box of the new custom entity. In this scenario, a
field that does
not have a name appears on the Non-Event Dependencies
tab. This
empty element is actually
the Note Text field. However, the label for the
field is omitted from the FormXml string when the new custom entity is
created. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the cell that contains the Note Text field in the
default form of the new custom entity does not have a
label. RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
