You receive a gray screen when you try to share an application or to share the desktop in the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client

SYMPTOMS

You run the Windows-based Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 client on a computer that has the Novell ZENworks Suite installed. When you try to share an application or to share your desktop in the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client, you receive a gray screen in the sharing session.

Note If you remove the ZENworks Suite from the computer, the sharing session functions as expected.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when one of the following versions of the ZENworks Suite is installed:
  • 4.0.1
  • 6.5.1
  • 6.5.2
  • 6.5.3

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client update package that is dated January 22, 2008.
