A Visio 2003 drawing control does not load and the Visio drawing contents are not displayed when you visit a Web page that contains the drawing control

When you visit a Web page that contains a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing control, the control does not load. Additionally, the Visio drawing contents are not displayed.

Note This issue occurs in Windows Internet Explorer 7.

Note Before you follow these steps, close all Internet Explorer windows.

1. On a Window Vista-based computer, click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
   
   Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
   
   On a Windows XP-based computer or Windows Server 2003-based computer, click

   , click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then right-click the following registry subkey:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E4615FA3-23B0-4976-BD3E-D611DDBE330E}\InprocServer32
3. Point to New, and then click String Value.
4. Type ThreadingModel as the name of the new registry entry, and then press ENTER.
5. Press ENTER again to open the Edit String dialog box.
6. Type Apartment in the Value data box, and then click OK.
7. Exit Registry Editor.
