Microsoft has released security bulletin MS08-017. The security bulletin contains all the relevant information about the security update. This information includes file manifest information and deployment options. To view the complete security bulletin, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
Notes- This update makes no changes to Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000. Instead, the update sets the killbit in the registry for the Microsoft Office Web Components 2000 control. Office Web Components are used together with ISA Server 2000 to generate and view ISA Server 2000 reports. Setting this killbit does not adversely affect ISA Server 2000 report generation or viewing.
- If you are using Office Web Components 2000 together with a product other than ISA Server 2000, you have to obtain a separate update.
- For more information, view the complete security bulletin by using the link earlier in this article.
