Error 1622 occurs when you try to install the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Windows-based Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 client, the Setup program (Lmsetup.exe) fails unexpectedly. Additionally, the Setup program displays error 1622.

This problem occurs if the user profile name contains double byte character set (DBCS) characters. For example, this problem can occur when you use a language such as Traditional Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and then run the setup of the latest version of the Live Meeting 2007 client. To download the latest version of the Live Meeting 2007 client, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
