Article ID: 948608 - Last Review: April 14, 2008 - Revision: 2.1 You have to enter credentials multiple times when you use a 2007 Office application that takes advantage of multiple network stacksOn This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you use a Microsoft 2007 Office application that takes advantage of multiple network stacks, you may have to enter credentials multiple times. This behavior occurs even when you click to select the Remember my password check box. CAUSEThis problem may occur if an application that uses multiple HTTP stacks connects to a Windows Live ID gated server. For example, an application may use the WinInet stack for direct Internet access and the WinHTTP stack through Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV). These applications may have to authenticate a user one time for each HTTP stack. Microsoft 2007 Office applications are an example of this kind of application.
