INTRODUCTION

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue:

948625  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948625/ ) The "Set sensitivity" list is not locked in Outlook 2003 after you configure the sensitivity setting by using a policy or by modifying the corresponding registry entry

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • You create a MAPI profile in Outlook 2003. When you send a message that has a .pdf file attached, data loss in the attachment may occur. For example, you send a message that has a nine-page .pfd file attached to a recipient who has a MAPI profile in Outlook. However, the recipient receives only a three-page .pfd file.

Note This data loss occurs in the new PDF format that is generated by Macintosh clients.
  • The last signature in a reply contains only a red "X" instead of the correct picture in Outlook 2003.
