Whether the hotfix package is replaced by any other hotfix package.
This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
•
In Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, you run a content deployment job between a source site and a target site. When you do this, the workflow status field on the source site is replicated to the target site.
Then, you remove the workflow association from the source site. After you do this, the incremental content deployment job fails.
•
When you implement an incremental crawl operation in SharePoint Server 2007, the operation may stop responding.
If you stop the Mssearch service and the incremental crawl operation and then implement the full crawl operation, the operation is successful.
•
In SharePoint Server 2007, Web Parts are moved between the layout pages on the source site. When this occurs, an incremental content deployment job that is run between the source site and the target site may fail. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'WebParts_PK'
•
On a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, you enable the Item Version History setting for a list that is created by using a custom list template. When you try to update an item in the list, you receive the following error message:
0x80040E14
•
You configure different URLs by using the Alternative Access Mapping option in SharePoint Server 2007. When you do this, the URLs that are shown in the high-confidence Web Part always display the default URLs that are defined in the default zone. However, you expect the correct URLs that are defined in corresponding zones from the Alternative Access Mapping option to be displayed.
•
A race condition in the SPConfigurationDatabase initialization causes the SPFileSystemCacheWatcher objects to leak.
•
In a list on a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, you try to rename or to delete a folder that is named "Forms." When you do this, you may receive the following error message:
0x8107096B
•
Consider the following scenario:
•
On a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site that is connected to SharePoint Server 2007, you enable the Windows Rights Management Services function for a document library.
•
You upload a Microsoft Word document to the document library.
•
You try to open the Word document from the library.
In this scenario, Word may not open. Additionally, SharePoint Server 2007 may experience 100% CPU usage.
Note This problem usually occurs when the size of the Word document is larger than 5 MB.
•
Consider the following scenario:
•
On a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, you add the "Link to a Document" content type to the Shared Documents library.
•
You create a link to a document that has a Chinese file name.
•
You click the document link to open the linked document in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
HTTP 404 - file not found
Note If you click the document link in Windows Internet Explorer 7, the linked document opens as expected.
•
On a SharePoint Server 2007 site, you modify a task in a task list. When you do this, users other than the users who are assigned to the task receive the notification e-mail message for the change.
•
On a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, you run the stored procedure (proc_SecGetListItemSecurity) to obtain an access control list for an item in a list that contains over 500,000 items. When you do this, you may experience poor performance.
•
Consider the following scenario:
•
In Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, you create a site collection. You set limits for both major and minor versioning for the shared documents.
•
You upload a document.
•
You disable the versioning settings for the uploaded document.
•
You export the site collection from the recovery server farm to a content migration package (.cmp file).
•
You try to import the site collection from the content migration package on a production server farm.
In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
Method not supported
•
You enter multiple misspelled words in the All of these words box on the Advanced Search page in SharePoint Server 2007. When you do this, the "Did you mean" feature appears to check for only the last word that you entered.
•
On a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site that uses the local time zone, the Gantt chart shades today's date based on the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) time zone.
For example, if the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site uses the UTC+9 time zone, the orange Today item in the Gantt chart is shaded based on the UTC time zone.
•
Consider the following scenario. You set a word as a keyword in SharePoint Server 2007. On the Advanced Search page, you enter a synonym for the keyword in the All of these words box. Then, you perform the advanced search. In this scenario, no "best bet" item appears.
Note If you type the synonym for the keyword in other boxes, the "best bet" item appears as expected. For example, this occurs if you type the synonym in the main search window or in the Any of these words box.
