Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix fixes the following issues:

949058 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949058/ ) When you try to filter Web pages whose dates are after the twelfth of any particular month in SharePoint Server 2007, no Web pages are displayed even though there are Web pages that meet this condition
949003 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949003/ ) You are directed to an English Web site even though you created the Web site in a different language in SharePoint Server 2007
949008 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949008/ ) SQL Server experiences a high load, and blocking problems may occur when you check a page in in SharePoint Server 2007

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

You add ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts to a Web Part page in SharePoint Server 2007. When you create new variations of that page, you receive the following error message:
You may re-try the operation, and you may need to clean up the half-created data first before re-trying. If the problem persists, please contact your system administrator
When you implement an incremental crawl operation in SharePoint Server 2007, the operation may stop responding.

Note If you experience this problem, stop the mssearch service, and then stop the Incremental crawl operation. Then, you can implement a successful full crawl operation.
You cannot upload multiple documents to the site manager page in SharePoint Server 2007.
The search synchronization in SharePoint Server 2007 does not work when the Full Control permission has been given to either the search service account or the default search application account.
You cannot locate the links from the I need to list in SharePoint Server 2007. When you click the list, you receive the following error message in the lower-left corner of Windows Internet Explorer:

In SharePoint Server 2007, the default import source connection has not been created when you create the Shared Services Provider (SSP). Additionally, the radio buttons for importing profiles are missing.
You disable the properties section of an advanced search Web Part in a page in SharePoint Server 2007. When you publish the page, you receive the following error message:

You configure different URLs by using the Alternative Access Mapping option in SharePoint Server 2007. However, the URLs that are shown in the high-confidence Web Part always display the default URLs that are defined in the default zone instead of the correct URLs that are defined in the Alternative Access Mapping option.

However, the URLs in the RSS feed of the search results always display the default URLs that are defined in the default zone instead of the correct URLs that are defined in the Alternative Access Mapping option.
You add SiteDirectory URLs to the sites list on the Site Directory Links Scan page. When the Site Directory Links Scan job runs, you may receive many alerts. For example, there are 12 administrators and 3,700 sites that are listed in the sites list. In this case, 44,400 alerts are generated by the system account every time that the Site Directory Links Scan job runs.
When you try to add Web Parts to a Web Part page in SharePoint Server 2007, the basic Web Parts are not available. For example, the Page Viewer Web Part and the Content Editor Web Part are not listed on the Add Web Parts page.

Note You can add the basic Web Parts from the main site's Web Part gallery.
You upload a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 file to a site in SharePoint Server 2007. When you query the content beyond the third slide, no results are returned. This problem occurs if the second slide of the file is blank or if it contains only an image.
When you type multiple misspelled words in the All of these words box on the Advanced Search page in SharePoint Server 2007, the "Did you mean" feature appears to check only the last word that you typed.
Consider the following scenario. You set a word as a keyword in SharePoint Server 2007. You enter a synonym for the keyword in the All of these words box on the Advanced Search page. In this case, no best bet appears when you perform the advanced search.

Note If you type the synonym for the keyword in other boxes, the best bet appears as expected. For example, the best bet appears if you type the synonym in the main search window or in the Any of these words box.
