This hotfix package fixes the following issue that is not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Consider the following scenario. On a client computer that has the 2007 Office system installed, you open a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 site or a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site. Then, you create a custom list in the datasheet view. The custom list has a lookup column to an existing calculated column on the site. In the datasheet view, you try to save changes to a row without changing the columns of the custom list. In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
The text entered for lookup isn't an item from the list. Select an item from the list, or enter text that matches one of the listed items.
