SYMPTOMS

When you use the Team Foundation Build feature in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server, an error message is logged in the application event log on the application tier server. This error message resembles the following:

This error prevents the Team Foundation Server warehouse synchronization operation from completing. Therefore, the report data is out of sync.

This problem occurs because of a bug in the adapter component in Team Foundation Build.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
