On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you export a virtual catalog to an XML file in Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, a base
catalog name may be appended to the value of the PrimaryParentCategory field. For
example, if the value of the PrimaryParentCategory field is "ShirtsCategory," and the base catalog
name is "Shirts," the XML file may contain the following entry. One or
more import, export, or rebuild operations that performed have not completed
successfully. See the Status view for further details. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem for new catalog databases, install the following hotfix. To resolve this problem for existing catalog databases, install the following hotfix, and then run the
ctlg_func_VC_GetUnMungedIdentifier.sql file. The hotfix includes this file. Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
