On This PageSYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, you use Commerce Server Staging (CSS) to deploy a metabase setting to a Web server. When you do this, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) IP address of the Web site is changed. Additionally, the non-SSL IP address of the Web site is not changed.
However, you expect neither IP address
to be changed
when you deploy a metabase setting to a Web server.
RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. You must manually change the logon account back to the original value by using one of the following techniques:
