Problem 1You cannot install server roles or reporting components for System Center Operations Manager 2007 or for System Center Essentials 2007. Additionally, the following error message is returned by Windows Installer:The setup wizard was interrupted before System Center Operations Manager 2007 could be installed. Problem 2If the reporting feature that is required for System Center Essentials 2007 is installed, you may receive alerts that indicate that the report deployment failed. The report deployment process cannot request a management pack list from Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. The operation will be retried. The following message is an example of an alert:Exception 'ServerDisconnectedException': The client has been disconnected from the server. Please call ManagementGroup.Reconnect() to reestablish the connection. CAUSEThis problem occurs because of the problem that is documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 931319.
